As a Chef de Partie at Yorks, You love to cook and learn new skills; and enjoy the buzz of working in a busy kitchen environment.
You are a master of your section. Whether it is Breakfast, Grill, Fryer Pizza oven, you ensure it’s prepped and ready for a first-class service, clean and organised at all times.
Experience as a Chef de Partie would be ideal but not entirely necessary. This is the perfect role for someone looking to learn and progress their skills. Someone who is keen to get stuck into anything and work well in a team. it will be a perfect opportunity for any chef looking to progress his career and to see a business and team grow naturally over time.

JOB DESCRIPTION / CHEF DE PARTIE
Job Area // Objective
-Menu Execution: Ensure each dish is cooked to the correct recipe standard and costing as per the specification. Ensure all dishes are prepared promptly to minimise waiting times and maximise table turnaround.
-Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, ingredients. Manage stock and conduct regular stock checks to minimise waste. Place orders with approved suppliers in a way to minimise stock holding and wastage, while ensuring that the full menu can always be served.
-Health, Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Manage health and safety protocols in the kitchen.
